Veteran Guide: BRAD BONNETT

Skill Level Required: Any! Guide Brad is there to ensure success regardless of your fly fishing background.
Goals: For anglers to experience the art of Mousing + catch countless wild Browns & Rainbows on mouse flies.

2 Anglers Groups — 2:1 Angler to Guide Ratio

First, understand that Wild Trout LLC targets over 35 miles of the White River below Bull Shoals Dam. This dam is a hydro-power plant which means the flows fluctuate hourly between 600cfs up to 24,000cfs. (Up to 10 feet of water variation in a single day!)

Nightly Schedule: No Time Limit (often 9 to 11+ hrs fishing)
All-Inclusive: Yes
Guiding Strategy is extremely specific about river conditions that specifically target the biggest Brown Trout. Your guide would hone in on different conditions by: taking anglers to lower density sections of river, following completely different water flow events, & taking risks in hopes of one strike from a giant. Trophy Hunting is a higher risk/higher reward guiding strategy.

Nightly Schedule: 7.5 hrs fishing

Guiding Strategy: Keep anglers in higher fish density sections of the White River and find flow conditions that will lead to the greatest overall success based on each angler’s goals. Big fish absolutely CAN & WILL happen on these trips, however, your guide makes your overall experience and catching many fish as the main goal. Guide Brad Bonnett will shift each trips focus to better meet his anglers’ hopes & expectations.

The best months for night fishing the White River are April thru October which provide ideal river conditions for Mousing & Trophy Hunting. During this timeframe, the moon phases play a crucial role in trout behavior. For 5 - 7 nights surrounding each Full Moon, nocturnal trout shut off their predatory instincts & feeding responses. The Wild Trout team does not accept bookings during this one week period every month. However, all other moon phases present exceptional fishing opportunities for quality & quantity.
